Sunday Morning - "Inside-Out" Kids' Ministry
At Peru First Baptist we make kids a priority. We love working with young people, and making sure they have positive experiences at church. Ultimately, we want to see them grow to be healthy, successful, and spiritually mature. To do this, we try to teach children the Bible during our Sunday morning program in a way kids can understand.
We combine story-telling, Bible study, prayer, small group discussions, games, crafts, and songs to make a powerful kids’ program that we call “Inside-Out Kids’ Ministry.” We call the program “Inside-Out” because we want children at our church to live for Jesus from the Inside-Out. This program consists of two parts on Sunday mornings. First, kids meet for Inside-Out small groups with kids their age (one group is K-2nd, the other 3rd—5th). Then, during our contemporary worship service, the kids head to Inside-Out Children’s Church to do activities that reinforce what they’ve learned. Kids For Christ meets every Thursday night from 6:15PM to 7:30PM. It starts the Thursday after Labor Day and runs through Spring Break. During the time that children are at KFC, they enjoy singing, a Bible lesson, crafts, a snack and maybe even a game or two. We also have some special nights where we show movies, have a theme night (Colts etc.) and at Christmas time we always have a birthday party for Jesus. We try to make learning about Jesus fun and practical.
Sunday Morning - Nursery and Toddler Time
Our church provides care for infants during both services and during Sunday morning classes. We have hired directors to run our nursery area, manage volunteers, and care for the nursery space. Children are well cared for, safe, and loved when they are a part of our nursery!
In Toddler Time, toddlers enjoy games, a snack, and a short lesson. Toddler Time is a great place for children who are too old for nursery and too young for Children's Church. We make a priority of caring for children of all ages here at PFBC. | Schedule:Sundays:
