Why do we care about community?
We believe that life, and faith, are best done in community. This conviction runs deep for our church. We find it from the first pages of the Bible (Gen. 1:26) to the last (Rev. 21:1-5). We believe that God created humans to live in loving relationships with one another. So even as we put the biggest focus on building relationships with God through Jesus Christ, we recognize that we do this together.
As a result, we do some specific things as a faith community. We worship God together. We study the Bible together. We pray for each other. We support each other in our victories and in our failures. And we serve our community and our God together.
So when we say "get connected" what we're really talking about is community. It means getting involved in this community of faith where we learn to love God and to love others. Please use the choices under the "Get Connected" menu to find ways to connect at PFBC.
