Sunday mornings (9:40 am) we have five open options for adults interested in participating in a Bible study.  This is a great opportunity to study Biblical topics that interest you, deepen your understanding of the faith, and build relationships with others in the church.  These studies will continue for 10 weeks and will be replaced in the summer.

                                                Interested in a class???

                                              Abraham - Hearing God's Call

Though it sounded crazy, Abraham chose to believe God's promise that, Abraham, an old man with no children, would have descendants as numerous as the stars.  And so, he embarked on a transforming, lifelong journey of faith and obedience.  God has made promises to us as well.  As you go through this study of Abraham's life, you'll learn to be a person who listens to, obeys and trusts the God who always keeps his promises.

David - Developing a Heart for God

The world desperately needs role models today, people like David, who are fully human yet exceed human expectations and point others toward God.  David's struggles with sin are infamous, and the Psalms reveal his anguish and doubts.  Yet this is also the champion of Israel - "a man after God's own heart.  As you explore David's story, you too will discover what it means to have a passionate heart for God.

The Good and Beautiful Community:  Following the Spirit, Extending Grace, Demonstrating Love

Learn how to live in relationship with others as apprentices of Jesus.  There are myriad opportunities for us to impact the world we live in.  Yet we often get it wrong, emphasizing personal faith over social justice or vice versa.  This study helps us bring spiritual formation and community engagement together, teaching ways to live as a good and beautiful community of Christ-followers, shining the light of the Spirit into every relationship.

In Ephesians, Paul informs us that "prolonged infancies" are not supposed to define the Christian life.  It's important to grow, to fuse together your belief with behavior.  Learn how Paul instructs the people of Ephesus to practice the skills of a "God-fashioned life" and apply his advice to your own life.
